chase jarvis LIVE: We Are Augustines Re-Watch

This was one of my all time favorites episodes of chasejarvis LIVE. Brooklyn-based We Are Augustines swooped into the Garage and–in between sharing amazing insight about struggle, creative vision, and inspiration–played an amazing, emotionally-charged set for us. We then followed up with a live photoshoot for forthcoming promo material for the band and release of their new album.

BTW, when you realize that you want to buy their album, sit tight. It’ll be out in a matter of weeks on iTunes and via their site. Best way to get the release date is to follow them on Twitter: @WeAreAugustines.

Audio only version of this show is here on iTunes if you want. Or here via RSS feed. Reminder for future: this video above is an edit. Gotta watch live to get the whole enchilada.

I’m really impressed with your writing talents and also with the structure in your weblog. Is this a paid subject or did you customize it your self? Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare to look a great weblog like this one nowadays..|

Hey are using WordPress for your site platform? I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get started and set up my own. Do you need any html coding expertise to make your own blog? Any help would be greatly appreciated!|

Greetings! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could get a captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having problems finding one? Thanks a lot!| 24 hours glass repair http://www.24hoursglassrepair.ca

This is a great video. For all the new fans of We Are Augustines, please track down their work in the band Pela. Their only album, “Anytown Graffiti”, is just as good as this new stuff.

Thanks for the re-post. Listened to this on your itunes broadcast the other day, and must say the visual really amped the mood of all the songs. Thanks so much for sharing and I wish I could have seen this live!

Elijah says:

thanks for the repost! Wish it would’ve included you shooting too! This band was sooo good!

Chase says:

gotta watch it live…

Greg says:

These guys are great. They should do a crowd sourced Music Video from different filmmakers who follow CJ around the country as they tour. I’d be happy to produce/shoot a segment in Miami gratis.

I like the sound, very soulful. Slightly Mumford and Sons sounding, or maybe the sound like them ha. any way sounds great looks like you guys had fun.

Lori says:

I can see why the repost…they are really good. That guy sings from his soul…what an awesome talent to have! Thanks for turning me on to something new. AND, for the good info. in the broadcast too (as usual).

Jason says:

Why aren’t these guys on iTunes ??

Chase Jarvis says:

They will be on iTunes any day now I’m told. This is a new project for them and it’s exploding way faster than anyone anticipated… Follow them on twitter @weareaugustines to know when the album hits the digital airwaves.

Thanks so much for posting this – I missed half of it when it aired live… …because I was trying to watch it at my day job ;-)

Keep up the great work, we all appreciate everything you do!
